Omnivore, herbivore, carnivore are all terms probably familiar to you. But do you know what a locavore is? Trying to eat food that is locally produced, within 60 – 100 miles from where a person lives is one way we can lessen the our impact on the Earth. Here is Erie County there are a variety of ways to eat delicious food that is locally sourced. Program participants will discover them and learn about the journey food goes on to arrive at home and table. Adults and children 16 and up. Pre-registration required.
